- Authentication information from Apple Sign‑In or Google Sign‑In (such as user identifiers provided by Apple or Google)
- Photos and 60‑second challenge videos uploaded to the app
- App usage and feature interactions related to creating and sharing challenges
We do not intentionally collect other sensitive personal data beyond what is reasonably necessary for the app’s core fitness‑challenge functionality.

5. How we use data
We may use personal data to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
- Create and manage user accounts.
- Personalize each user’s experience and the content they see.
- Store and deliver user‑generated challenge videos and profile photos.
- Handle authentication via Apple or Google Sign‑In.

- Enforce these Terms and our policies.

6. Legal bases for processing (where applicable)
Where required by law (for example, under the GDPR or related regulations), we rely on one or more of the following:
- Performance of a contract (providing the Services the user requests).
- Legitimate interests (e.g., app security, incident detection, and product improvement).
- Consent (for certain marketing or tracking where required).
- Legal obligation (complying with applicable laws).
7. How we share data
We may share personal data with:
- Service providers and processors that help us operate the Services, including hosting, infrastructure, analytics, customer support, and communication vendors.
- CloudFlare (for hosting and security).
- Railway (for hosting and backend services).
- Singular (for attribution and analytics).
- Supabase (for data storage; all data is stored in the European Union, specifically Germany, although some processing may occur in the United States).
- Apple and Google, where necessary for account creation and sign‑in through Apple or Google Sign‑In.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers or accountants.
- Regulators, law enforcement, courts, or government authorities where required.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
8. Camera, microphone, and photo‑library permissions
The app accesses your device’s camera and microphone solely to enable you to record and upload 60‑second challenge videos. It also accesses your photo library so you can upload profile pictures and select videos. These permissions are optional in the sense that you can choose not to grant them, but without granting them you may be unable to record or upload videos or set a profile picture. The app does not access your camera or microphone when you are not actively recording or uploading content.
9. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to:
- Provide the Services and maintain your account.
- Fulfill contractual and legal obligations.
- Resolve disputes.
- Prevent misuse or enforce our policies.
Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. For example, user‑uploaded challenge videos and account‑related data are retained until a user deletes their account or requests deletion, unless we are required by law or legal obligations to retain them for a longer period.
10. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and devices.
11. International data transfers
Personal data is stored in the European Union, specifically in Germany, via Supabase. Some processing may occur in the United States through our hosting, analytics, and attribution providers (CloudFlare, Railway, Singular). Where applicable, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) are in place for transfers outside the EU/EEA.
12. User rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, users may have the right to:
- Access their personal data.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete their data where technically feasible and not required for legal or security reasons.
- Change account details through the app’s account and profile settings.
- Manage device permissions (camera, microphone, photo library, notifications) through iOS or Android settings.
- Opt out of certain data processing where required by law.
To exercise these rights, contact: privacy@insparted.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
13. Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If a user believes a child under 18 has provided personal data, please contact privacy@insparted.com and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
14. Third‑party services and links
The Services may integrate with or link to third‑party services such as Apple, Google, CloudFlare, Railway, Singular, and Supabase. These services have their own privacy policies and terms; we are not responsible for their privacy practices, and users should review their terms separately.
15. Jurisdiction‑specific disclosures and applicable law
This Privacy Policy is intended to be interpreted in accordance with the privacy and data protection laws that apply to the Developer and the Services, including the laws of the Netherlands and relevant regulations in the European Union and European Economic Area. Where local law grants additional rights or requires extra disclosures (for example, under the GDPR or related national laws), those rights and disclosures will apply to users in those jurisdictions. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any mandatory consumer or data protection rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, provide additional notice through the app or email. Continued use of the app following an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
